Over 600 young people from 22 countries have gathered in El Salvador for the first Ibero-American edition of the largest event of technology and digital culture network in the world. The Ibero-American Campus Party 2008, which was held from October 28th to November 1st, emphasised technological innovation as enhancing social development.
The meeting is part of the official program for the XVIII Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government, held simultaneously in the capital San Salvador. Youth and Development was its main theme.
This partnership makes the Campus Party even more important because the participants have had the chance, not only to work projects in collaboration with young leaders from other countries, but also to show their ideas to the authorities attending the Summit.
